New Skylop Head
Elections for a new president of
the Sky Top Association and a
new club treasurer will be held
at the regular business meeting
of the AVC in 121 Sparks at
7:30 o'clock tomorrow night, said
Leo Troy, chairman.
A report of the state convention
will be given by Ed Banyai, rep
resentative at the convention.
Arrangements are being made
to have Bill Hart, district 19 of
the United Steelworkers, CIO,
come to the College shortly after
the Christmas holiday to speak on
the subject, "Labor Views the
Taft-Hartley Act."
"We have also sent out letters
inviting other men to speak at
the College, but as yet we have
received no replies," said Troy.
AVC is also planning to take
action, in the form of petitions,
on the subject of Universal mili
tary training which will be
brought up at the second session
of the 80th congress.
