Begins Initiation
Twenty new members of Sigma
Alpha Eta, speech education or
ganization, started their week's
initiation Wednesday by wearing
tongue depressors lettered with
the Greek symbols of the club.

Plans for the semester include
a Christmas party, with trainees
in the speech and hearing clinic
as guests; meetings with guest
speakers from all parts of the
state who can add to the knowl
edge of the members on the
speech and hearing aid program
in Pennsylvania; and open dis
cussions among the members of
the club.

Requests A Name
For Her Baby
Elsie, the College's own cow,
has had a calf, and the proud
mama is looking for a name for
her baby, boy. Critique, literary
magazine, is sponsoring a con
test among students to name the
baby bull, prodigy of Larry Farb,
student caretaker of Elsie and
the bull.
Students will have a chance to
submit a name tomorrow at the
Harvest Ball, or at any booth
where Critique will be on sale
today. The winner will be desig
nated as godfather, or godmother,
to the calf, and receive a month's
supply of milkshakes at the
Milky Way, Alex Gregory, Cri
tique editor, said.
Elsie and her calf will be at
the Harvest Ball tomorrow,
dressed in their Sunday suits,
Farb said. A ballot box will be
at the dance for entries.
