Traube Guest of Honor Dr. At Anniversary Dinner Dr. and Mrs. M. R. Trabue were honored at a dinner held by the School of Education at the Nittany Lion Inn Wednesday to mark the 10th anniversary of Dr. Trabue's appointment as dean of the School of Education and director of the Summer Sessions at the College. Dr. Trabue was named dean col Sessions in 1937 after he had sery of North Carolina for 15 years. He succeeded Dean Will Grant Chambers. first dean of the School of Education at the Col lege. who retired in 1937. Commenting on the future for the School of Education. Dean DEAN MARION TRABUE Trabue said that the School should be judged by the quality, rather than the Quantity of its graduates. He also stated that graduates of the School should be prepared to be leaders in education for demo cracy and that it therefore was necessary for them to receive their training in a democratic institu tion.
