Fall T heme Keynotes
Fraternity Parties
Colorful Fall and Hallowe'en themes will keynote most fra
ternity Houseparty celebrations tomorrow night as 34 houses spot
light the weekend's entertainment finale with a gala review of
parties and dances .
Although the predominant autumn motif has kept social chair
men hustling variegated leaves, crisp corn shocks, and big fleshy
pumpkins into chapter and social rooms, several houses have de
parted radically from the general trend in favor of more unusual
themes. _
Theta Chi's annual "Bowery
Ball, unique for its derbies and
bow ties, will feature the famed
lower East Side of New York,
while Beta Sigma Rho fraters
dance to the music of Gabe Gar
land's band in a Mexican atmos
phere.
Ti. Dance
About 800 ties, collars, and
scarves, will bedeck the ceiling
and walls of Lambda Chi Alpha's
social room tomorrow night for
their "Tie Dance," while Delta
Sigma Phi party goers are enter
tained by the music of Gene
Sprague at the Delta Sig "Pink
Elephant Dance."
Pat Patterson's band will pro
vide music for Zebra Club patrons
at the Zeta Beta Tau house, while
Acacia, with Al Alexander of
Wilkes-Barre, and Delta Chi,
with Huff Hall playing amid a
bevy of plastic bubbles, stage
informal affairs.
Hallowe'en motifs have been
adopted by Pi Kappa Phi and
Alpha Gamma Rho for their
dance tomorrow night at the Pi
Phi house. Johnstown's Buddy
Wills will provide the music. A
