Cabinet Hears Report (Continued from u age one) zel had brought the matter up at the June meeting of the College's board of trustees, but that no fur ther action had been taken by the board on it. Miss Ratehlord was asked to request President I-letzel to reopen the matter at the December meeting of trustees. Plans and specifications, to gether with a proposed location, tor a permanent outdoor bulletin board have been completed by the Grounds and Buildings Depart ment. Russell Smiley said that they have been sent to the office of Samuel K. Hostetter, assistant to the College president in charge oL' finance. Smiley said that he would have more complete infor mation for Cabinet at its next meeting. Edward Koval, representing Pollock Circle, read a petition re questing that a. Cabinet represent ative be delegated to sit in on meetings of the Pollock Circle Council, so that Cabinet may de cide whether Pollock Circle is en titled to cabinet membership. Foote said that someone will be appointed by cabinet to attend the meetings. Class presidents James Shee han, Eugene Fulmer, and Richard Sarge reported on attendance at the first class meetings of the semester. Mary Lou Waygood proposed, on behalf of Senate, that a sugges tion box be placed at the Student Union desk in Old Main so that students could inform student governing bodies of their sugges tions for improvements, criti cisms. etc. A committee from Cab inet, she explained, could go through the box, sorting the sug gestions and forwarding them to the proper group, whether All- College Cabinet or WSGA. The proposal was tabled, but Foote appointed a committee con sisting of himself, Miss Waygood, and the class presidents to con sider the matter. Foote pointed out to Cabinet that 201 Old Main will be the body’s permanent meeting place in the future. Cabinet agreed unanimously to continue meeting at 8 o’clock Thursday nights. Following adjournment, the meeting was thrown open to vis iting Bucknell University stu dents who asked Questions about Cabinet's powers and methods of conducting business.
