Or ganizational plans will be made and there will be a general dis tussion of skiing and the avail ability of equipment before the first snow. Max Dercum, former ski coach at the College, has sent films and slides of ski trails in Colorado, Washington an d Pennsylvania which will be shown at the meet ing. Over 230 college ski enthusiasts attended the meeting on October 3. Announcement was made, at that time, that the Pennsylvania State Ski Championships would be held at the Penns Valley Ski Area on February 1 1 5th and 16th, 11917.. :Henry Thurston, president, and IVllax Peters, vice-president„ ex pect to attend a meeting, hi Bos ton, of the United States East ern Amateur Ski Association. They will learn the results of the clubs requests for Class "C" rat ings for the two trails at the Boalsburg area. Only 110% of the 93 students polled knew the :fore• major party candidates for Pennsylvania governor and 'U. S. Senator, while one third d`•d not know even one. Among the 38 voting students, however,. the knowledge was a little higher, with nearly a fifth knowing .both slates and another fifth returning blanks. The aver erage voter knew two candidates; the non-voting average was one. Back your candidate in the elec tion next Tuesday. A great deal of work was done to make it possible for you to go home to vote. Don't make it all for nothing. CAMPUS RESTAURANT with and his Windcrest Residents Are Guests of Honor Al Stork Showers Mrs. Reid McCloskey. of Wind crest, was guest-of-honor at a stork shower Monday night at the Windcrest community hall. The party was given by Mrs. Mc- Closkey's neighbors in Zone 7. Five other residents of 'Wind crest were also honored with a stork shower recently at the com munity hall which"was decorated to carry out a Halloween theme. The five guests-of-honor, each of whem was presented With a carriage robe, were: Mrs. Warren Adams, Mrs. Robert Beacher, Mrs. Roy Connor, Mrs.-James Ro berts, and Mrs. Jack Trostle.
