Livestock Judging Team
Competes in four-College
Contest at Ohio State
Eight students have been se
lected to represent the College at
a four-,college contest to by held
at-gultirnbus, ohio,Dctobr IL, and
12 in a revival of livestock judg
ing after five years. Those selected
are: Carolyn Graham, Mary
Louise Waygood, H. Leigh Woeh
ling, Samuel W. Lath, D. B. Stauf
fer, Dorsey 0. Phillips, Ross E.
Christian, - and Charles W. Cam
eron.
The livestock students will
compete with similar teams from
Purdue University, University of
Kentucky, and Ohio State Uni
versity.
Accompanying the team will be
Dr, William L. Henning,—of the
animal
. husbandry faculty, who
said contests will include judging
of horses,. beef cattle, sheep and
Swine. Dr. Henning indicated he
will use the showings made by in
dividuals of the local delegation
to determine the team to -repre
sent the College in intercollegiate
judging at the American Royal
Livestock Show at Kansas . City,
Mo., October 19.
During the trip to Columbus,
the students • will stop .at the
farms of C. A. Smith, Chester,
W. Va:, a. 'prominent livestock
(breeder, to judge Hereford cattle.

23 in the Armory, according to the
Election Code as released by Jack
Branigan, Chairman of the Elec
tions committee.
