Spoudekastor was pledged to

Founded as a local sorority,
April 26, 1945, Spoudekastor was
notified last spring of Tri-Delta
sponsorship.

"Thespians need more Men for
the chorus," Mellott said. "So far,
12 have been accepted. We want
any interested candidates to come
to the first dance rehearsal in
Schwab auditorium, 7 p.m., to
morrow."
Six women and four men have
been chosen for vocal parts from.
the 28. candidates. Eight men re
ported for the Rib of understudy
ing the Stooges. The name of the
Fourth Stooge will be announced
later, Mellott said. Many of those
who tried out were members 'of
last spring's Thespian east.

Frizzell Honored
The extemporaneous speaking
contest at the College has been
officially designated the John
Henry Frizzell Extemporaneous
Speaking Contest, in honor of
John Henry Frizzell, who retired
on June 30 as-professor and head
of the speech department, College
officials announced yesterday.
