On Marriage
•Marriege Problems in the
Postwar World will be the theme
of a three day Marriage and
Home Adjustment InstitUte from
September .16 to 18, at the Col
lege, Clifford R. Adams, asso
ciate professor of psychology, an
nounced.
Nationally know experts in the
:fields- of _marriage and home ad
justinent will discuss techniques
of marriage counseling, research
on 'soliring the problems encoun
tered in marriage, and the coun
seling of young people - in how. to
pick a mate.
Over ROO teachers, 'guidance
counselors, dean, personnel exe
cutives, and social workers from
all parts of the country attended
the first institute in 1944.
Dr. Adams, chairman oT the
,institute, expects from 200 to 250
at the second 'conference, post
poned until 1946 because of travel,
restrictions.
Anyone interested in marriage
and the rfamily or persons
specializing in giving counsel to
people with personal " proclaims
may attend the meetings.
