' ' Home is, a small cottage—Mrs. Stetler . calls it “a sort of dream house’—about a mile beyond the town limits.- Sharing its warmth with the Stetlers are a dog and cat, both familyy pets. Stetler, who’s attending the College., after six and one-half years in the Navy, virtually leads a triple life. He looks upon his college career, not as a one-man job, but as a family enterprise. Charles E. Barr will bo master of ceremonies on theso programs which will present orig' inal works and feature interviews with guest speakers. Purple Quill, the literary club composed of undergraduates and their faculty associates, - 'was re organized in the summer semester of 1945 by .an essay writing class at the College. Officers elec ted at the initial meeting of tho club are: Charles M. Barr, guild master; Miss Julie Cregg Brill, scribe; and Margaret Wasson, cus todian. Founded in 1928 by Fred Lewis Pattee, Purple Quill has had as its purpose the stimulation of an astheti interest in art and its composition. Mr. Pattee was the initial member of the club and is best remembered on the campus as the author of the Penn State Alma' Mater. The club flourished until 1935 when it dissolved. .
