taining a preface by Dr. Samuel
Johnson ; was . discovered by ac
cident by a professor of English.
The book, a prefaCe and. indeX to
Gentlemen's Magazine, was writ
ten in 1763, and only two copies
were known to be in, existence.
The discovery apparently gives
Lehigh the only copy of the book
in America and the third copy in
the world:
