The third lecture in the current
Liberal Arts series will be deliv
ered by Dr. John L. E. McCord,
professor of. farm management
and agricultural economics in 121
Sparks at 7:30 p. m. on Thursday.
He will talk on the subject
"Some Problems in the Production
of Our Food Supply Under War
Conditions." He will discuss the
world food situation in general,
touching on the production prob
lems of surplus countries and de
ficit. countries, as they enter into
the food picture. •

recently reported to the AAF Pre-
Flight School for Pilots at Maxwell
Field, Alabama, an installation of
the Army Air Forces' Training
Command, to begin another phase
of their training as pilots in the
U. S. Army Air Forces' Expand
