for governor's speech
Dean of Women Charlotte E.
RaY • expressed th e hope
that coeds Would turn out for the
Governor's convocation address,
at Rec Hall Monday, in the follow
ing statement:
"It isn't every college that en
joys the honor of a visit from the
Governor of the Commonwealth
—an honor coming to Penn State
next Monday. If we remember that
our College is supported entirely
by the State, we realize that the
wisdom and faith of Governor
Martin are responsible for his ap
proving a generous appropriation
when many are urging a false
economy in education. The coeds
are coming out one hundred per
cent strong to the convocation to
show their support of the Gover
nor's - prer am."
