White Hall wigwam will be the scene of the warpath dance to the rhythm of Jimmy Burden's tom-toms. Tickets may be purchased at Student Union, from all Cwens, or at the door. Dress will be in formal and almost any costume will be the vogue, acording to Pat Hallburg, chairman. The Hokey-Pokey will be featured during intermission. Receipts from the dance will be-used for the C wen scholarship, Ann Louise Decker, president, stated. Russian - Club Celebrates Professor's Anniversary To help Father Konstantine Aurorov, Russian instructor, cel ebrate his thirtieth anniversary of Priesthood the Russian Club had a gathering at Hawk Run re cently where Professor Aurorov has been priest for fourteen years. The highlight of the afternoon was singing of the Russian Choir, and speeches by members of the faculty. Informal singing and dancing followed the pro gram. Jane Wolbarst held the votes down for corresponding secretary and the poet of recording secretary was accorded Barbara Keyser. Kay Cutts is the new treasurer and Flora Bor is social chairman. Gloria Woodward was elected ath letic director. These newly elected officers will serve on the Executive Com mittee of ISC, which is a union of the independent organizations on campus. . Plans are now under way for an TWA dance to be given suee'ti cally for independent women. Mu. sic will be supplied by a campus band. This dance will be in the way of an installation dance for the new officers. Other details will be announced later. Lakonides Formulate Library Arrangements Plans are being formulated to start a physical education libra ry in the WRA Roam, White Hall. The Lakonides decided to send letters to all physical education graduates, asking for book con tributions. A corn roast will be held at the White Hall parking lot for all La konides members Wednesday ev ening, Nancy Shrum, chairman for the affair, , announced today. The Board has a' new advisor in Miss Pearl 0. Weston, who re places Miss Nine Bentley as as sistant Dean of Women. Under consideration of the Board at the present time is a point system for the classifica tion of womens' activities. This system will facilitate work done by honoraries that wish to tap new members.
