Peggy Northrup monopolized the sophomore points with an inter class high of 30 points, followed by freshman Becky Walter wiio scored 19 for the frosh. ARMY-NAVY BASKETBALL, IM TABLE TENNIS The outstanding coed basket bailers from the interclass squads will be selected to play on the Army ir Navy teams by Mary G. Longnecker and Miss Mildred Lucey, instructor in physical edu cation. Coeds from each team will elect captains and the team win ner of the series will take the ma jority of three or five games, Miss Longpecker stated, i ; Intramural table tennis will also begin after vacation. Sorority and dormitory units which, were in the bowling arid badminton frays will compete in the table .tennis intramurals. The sorority or dormitory unit that 'annexes the most intramural points will be awarded the WRA Intramural Cup, Miss Longnecker stated. Wilson Cole, Curtiss-Wrlght employee responsible for and di recting the company’s Cadette program, visited here Tuesday arid Wedriesday to view the progress of the program at Penn State. In an informal speech to the Cadettes Tuesday night in the Sandwich Shop, Mr. Cole express ed himself as “well pleased with conditions at Penn State.” He ex plained Curtiss-Wright objectives in instituting the program, saying that each woman would be fitted for a particular job and would constitute the greater part of the company's supply of engineers next year. During his stay, Mr." Cole also attended Cadette classes, and dis cussed the program with faculty members appointed to a planning fcommittee for the course by Presi dent Hetzel.
