Anderson, former Panhellenic advisor on campus and- recently returned from a spe cial meeting of National Panhel lenic Congress at Chicago, spoke - to persons attending the City Pan hellenic League coffee hour in southeast lounge, Atherton Hall, last night. Mrs, Anderson reported on the Chicago meeting, where college deans of women and representa tives of the armed forces discussed methods of better preparing wom en to meet wartime responsibili ties. Although nothing definite is scheduled, Mrs. Anderson reveal ed that there is a possibility that training courses of from six ! months to two years will be offer ed to equip. women to take over jobs in industry formerly held by 'men.. Mrs. John Vandervort, president of the City Panhellenic League, suggested possibilities of providing new national sororities with chap ter rooms.
