For Mondays And

Dances In Armory
Replace SU Mixers
Stamp dances, beginning .Mon
day, will be sponsored by the All-
College Committee for' Defense
Stamp Sales. Dances will be held
in the Armory each Monday and
Wednesday from 4 to 5 p. m., with
the admission set at one ten cent
defense stamp per person.
Taking the place of the dances
formerly held by Student Union,
these late afternoon mixers will be
run in the .same informal manner
with music by recordings. All
students are invited to attend.
Student Union dances were last
held in the Armory during the
1940-41 term. Use of the Armory
by the Military Department forced
the cancellation of the dances,
which have not been held since,
except during Freshman Week.
Pauline Crossman '43, chairman•
of the committee, said last night
that members of Cwens and Mor
tar Board will act as salesmen.
Further efforts to promote the
sale of defense stamps on campttg

stated. Committee members will
sell stamps at Student Union to
day from 1:30 to 5 p. m. and Sat
urday morning for WRA's "Foot
