Bibles, PSCA News Sent
To Incoming Freshmen
Student handbooks, as well as
copies of the PSCA flews, were
mailed to members of the Fresh
man class, ye,sterday, the office
of the Christian Association:stated
last night.
"Frosh Bibles" . as they are
more commonly called, must be
carried at all times by the green
dinked frosh who are expected to
produce it upon the request of
upperclassmen.
Editors and business managers
of the book include Robert E.
Schooley, editor; Lila A. Whoolery
'43, women's editor; Mary Jean
Seanor '42, business manager; and
William C. Patterson '43, adver
tising manager.

Freshman Politicians Will
Face Busy Fail Semester
2 '46 (lass Eledions
Set Within 2 Months
With two elections for Class of
'46 officers scheduled within less
than two months, freshman poli
ticians face a busy season with
the opening of the Fall semester.
Donald W. Davis, chairman of
the All-College Elections commit
tee, stated last night that October
9 has been tentatively set as the
date for the freshman officer
voting. The political mass meet
ing for the introduction of candi
dates, which precedes each . elec
ti n, is scheduled for October 6
and official campaigns will run
between - these two dates. Davis
stated that all these dates are
subject to All-College Cabinet's
approval.
In November the freshmen will
again vote for class officers, this
time at the All-College elections
for sophomore class positions.
Since both the June and Sep
tember entering groups cmibined
are considered the official fresh
man class, the Elections commit
tee, with the approval of Cabinet,
decided to postpone freshman
elections, until both groups could
participate in the balloting.
Though some organization of
the political partiet, Campus and
Independent, has taken place this
Summer, complete organization
will not be made' until next month
with both frosh groups eligible
to hold clique positions:Freshmen
interested in working' in one of
-the oarties, should watch for an
nouncements of meetings soon
after the start of the Fall term.
At both of .the Fall '46 elections
both groups of freshinen will be
eligible to vote and to. run .for
office.. In this respect the elec
tions committee has made an" ex
ception for the '46 class. In the
political setup of all other classes
only students with second semes
ter standing will be eligible to be
