IM Tennis Held Up
Intramural tennis will not start
until the courts are put in proper
condition, Eugen C. Bischoff, di
rector of the intramural program,
announced yesterday. Wet weath
er necessitated the hold up, he
said. Entrants for the tourna
ment will probably be limited be
cause of the shortage of time.
ATO defeated TKE, 7-6, yester
day in their first softball game of
the season. The winning margin
was provided 'by a home run by

their heavy drills yesterday in
preparation for formal time trials
to be held on New Beaver Field
at 3:30 p. m. Saturday.
The team will be helped this
year by a large number of candi

possible a larger initial entry in
the Penn Relays than any other
school. Trials on Saturday will
determine more nearly the men
who will compete in each event.
One of the largest entries is in
the freshman mile relay. A total
of 18 men will vie for the four
positions. They are Williams,
Dibeler, Karver, Riley, Deutche,
Stuebing, Durilla, Foreman, Carl
son, Gray, Chavooshian, Kochul,
Shuman, Bates, Beach, Montgom
ery, Sclan, and Martin.
Included among the entries are
three members of the undefeated
indoor medley relay tarn. The
men entered ar Jerry Karver, Bill
Shuman, and John Dibbler. Only
member of the undefeated team
not entered is Cliff St. Clair.
