PAGE FOUR Senate Members Constitution Revisions Set-up Copied After Political Instruments Plans to streamline the WSGA Constitution were submitted to Senate members last night for qudy and consideration after a venior senator constitution com mittee had examined and supple mented proposals made last year. The constitution committee con sisting of Jean Babcock, Anne M. Borton, Betty J. Patton, Jeanne C. Stiles and Mildred W. Taylor, inade proposals for including spe cific qualifications, responsibili iies, appointments, and installa tions for all coeds concerned with WSGA bodies. "The original 'Constitution, which has never been altered, if ;approved by senators, will be re vised to meet up-to-date WSGA. problems," Miss Babcock. presi dent, stated. The proposed changes have been modeled after political con stitutions with articles and sec tions of the document added to take care of all WSGA groups: A suggestion was made by the committee to include Junior Serv ice Board in the WSGA set-up. The original constitution hag no provision for board members and specifies acceptance for member ship through word of mouth and promise of leadership. • , Another proposal is concerned with converting the House •of :Representatives from . committee divisions to a legislative body and the origin .of WSGA issues. WSGA branches which have been considered in the proposals by the committee are Senate. House of Representatives, Fresh man Council, . Junior Service Board, and Judicial. outmoded Amazons Go 13ack To Their Hoops Women are sissies! Brunhilde, Daisy Mae, and Mamie Mullins to the contrary—females are de finitely the weaker sex according to a survey made under the direc tion of Dr. Clifford R. Adams of the psycho-educational clinic. Not only do the fair maidens make more excuses, exhibit more personal prejudices, and sway hither and yon in their opinions, but their faults and foibles keep pace with their years. Courage proves but fine talk as women show a greater tendency toward fear and are not so well adjusted as men. Male professors and teachers are less neurotic, less repressed, and better adjusted so cially, than women instructors. Men like to participate in many activities, but as age catches up 'with them, they take to the arm chair. Devised by Dr. Adams and Dr. W. M. Lepley, of the department of education and psychology, the test used in the study, "Personal Audit," measures nine independ ent personality traits.
