Coach Marty Mc- Andrews yesterday. The squad, as a whole, looks like a tall and heavy one. Among the most promising players, judging 'from of►ly a light passing drill on Wednesday, will be Dave and Harry Alston, brothers. The two boys were standout halfbacks at Midland last year. The Alston-to• Alston passing combination recorded several good forward passes in Wednesday's drill. Dave has the better passing arm and his brother is a very cap able receiver. One of the most startling blows befell the Lion yearlings . when Jake'Abrams, brilliant halfback from Jeanette who rampaged op ponents' secondary defenses last year, decided to transfer to Miami to attend college. However, Coach McAndrews still has plenty of talent to draw from in order to produce the :best yearl ing squad, in the Nittany Valley for a long ,tinie.
