The Lion's outstanding netman, Captain Mac Weinstein, who has won 22 of his 28 college matches, will be lead-off man for State, fol lowed by veterans Del Hughes, Chuck Bowman, and Johnny Knode. Don -Parker will make his debut for the Lions at No. 5, and Bill Lundelius, also a sophomore, at No. 6. The Roethkemen's chances today rest heavily on their three doubles combinations: Weinstein and _Hughes in the first position fol lowed by Bowman and Knode, and Parker and LundellUt. Phone Lewistown 791 Tuleya Starts On Mound ; Bedenk Changes Infield Gettysburg's Bullets will pro vide the opposition for the Nittany diamondmen at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Lions' first home encounter of the year. Coach Joe Bedenk will start southpaw Ed Tuleya on the mound against the Orange and Blue nine, which pounded out a victory over Wesleyan University in its only other, game this season. Bill Debler and Peany Gates are ,the only veterans in the Lion line-up. Debler will start at first base and Gates in left field. Alex Bassista will be Tuleya's battery mate behind the platter. Three starters will be playing their first game for the Blue and White. They are Warren Kolke beck in center field, Bob Ruff in right field, and Bill Mazzoccd . at second base. Former second baseman Freddy Ball will move to third and Whitey Thomas will remain at . shortstop for the Lions. Captain Eddie Sapp will return from. an inspection trip at noon today and may see action at second during the game. Stickmen Oppose Garnets Today At Swarthmore Stopped twice in their weekend quest for victory by Navy and the University of Maryland, the Lion lacrossemen will seek their first victory of the season from Swarthmore today at Swarthmore Field.
