For the Lions it will be an op portunity to gain revenge for a previous defeat this season and for the Panthers it will be a chance to become the only team to spill State twice. At Pitts burgh on January 11, Pitt won.by 36 to 27. Both teams have almost the same record for the season. Pitt has 12 wins and four losses and State has 13 'victories and five defeats. It will be the last home game of the year for the Lions. Next Wednesday they wind up their campaign by testing a weak Car negie Tech five on the Tech hard wood. Coach John Lawther is ex pected to send his usual starting combination against the Panthers though one guard position is still in doubt.
