Feature, Preliminaries
Severiteen spirited boxers drove
their way into the second round
of the Intramural Boxing Cham
pionship before a crowd of 400 in
Rec Hall yesterday afternoon.
Four technical knockouts thrill
ed the audence, while 12. bouts
were won by decisions, and a for
feit decided one match. •
Today's bouts, about 18 of
them, will• begin at 4• p. m. Re
ferees today were , Danny DeMa
rino, Joe Miller, and Dr. Arthur
F. Davis. Major Francis Heraty
and •Chick Werner were judges.
There will be no bouts tomorrow.
