PETTY THIEVERY has created problems on the campus in the past, but when $B5O fur coats are stolen it is time -to take steps to avoid the repetition .of such acts in the future. With Soph Hop com ing up in less than two weeks, any preventative measures are worthy of attention. Carefulness as to where wraps are put on the part of the women could avert a recurrence of the un fortunate robberies of houseparty weekend. Fraternities could cooperate by asking a brother or pledge. to stay in the rooms where coats are put, as has been suggested by a member of the administration. Reporting of suspicious-looking outsiders to fraternity presidents might also be a remedy to the un precedented wave of robberies. It is important that no visitor to our campus go away with any but pleasant recollections. The cooper ation of fraternities and women students can nip the robberies be fore they blossom into a serious thorn in the side of big weekends. 11111 11111111111111111111111111111111111“111111111111111111111111111 CAMPUS -CALENDAR 111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 FRIDAY: Campus Center Club members will leave first floor lounge Old Main at 7:30 p. in. for hay ride and party.
