Pan-Hellenic Council To Open Season
With Party; Stiff Penalties Set Up
Women’s formal rushing season this yeai will be held
the first ten days of second semester the same as last year,
according to Pan-Hellenic council’s rushing code.
Relationships between sorority w omen and new students
during first semester will be confined to open rushing, which
means that affiliated women may enteitain freshmen and
transfers in their houses at designated times, but may not
spend any money on them or visit m their rooms. By this
ruling, the council hopes to foster friendly relations between
sorority women and new students

On Monday, September 18, at 1
p m. the executive board of WRA
will meet with the fieshmen to
explain diffei ent paits of the or
ganization and how each part goes
to make up WRA as a whole

theie will be a Sports Rally in the
gym, .with demonstrations by each
sports club and explanations by
the club presidents of what then
organization offers A program of
folks dances will follow, and then
freshmen will be given an oppor
tunity to sign up for niembeiship
