Coach 'Chick Werner's cross-country team will hold its first practice
next Wedifeday; 'when all candidates for the freshman and . varsity teases

Charces for a SucceskfUl . season depend on the number of last year's
letter winners and freshmanstars who return. Six lettermen are expected
to compete in this year's difficult five-meet schedule. They are Captain Pete

Coach Werner feels that if, all the
above runners return to :school, the
team should be fairly strong. Since ]
Chid: came here in the fall of 1933
his teams have been highly success

lost in that time.
