nal. Ito took the first round by out
boxing Sala, but the champion gained
an edge in the next two .rounds as
the Lion reverted to slam-bang—tac
tics, which is Sala's dish.
Friday night, Alex Sopchak drop
ped another close bout to his neme
sis, Clarence Bess, of Army. One of
the best matches of the tourney, this
may have been called either way.
Both boys were the cream of the
featherweights, with Bess gaining the

At 10 o'clock . on Saturday morn
ing both wrestlers: stepped on the
mats. The teams' score was dead

the team. The team will lost Light,
Calvin, Kruya, and O'Dowd for next
