Student Union To Hold
Social on Friday Night
Thu American Student Union will
hold a social at the home of Prof.
Edward R. Van Sant, of the depart
ment of sociology, on Friday, Nov.
20, at 8:30. The evening: will include
dancing and refreshments and will be
open to all students. . There will be
an admission charge of twonty-five
cents.
A car party will be arranged to
take students to the home of Profes
sor Van Sant, which is about two and
one-half miles out of town. All those,
who wish to "'attend may meet at
the Corner at S'6'clock.
Phi Eta Sigma To Hold
Meeting Tonight at 7

the past chapters of Phi Eta Sigma,

nia,” will be of the regu
lar meeting of the Freshman Forum
in the Hugh Bedver room tonight at
7:30 o’clock. '
In this play, which is under the di
rection of Jessie Schminky ’3B, six
members of the3>rganization will take
part, including -Evelyn Bechtel, June
Fechner, Emriy'-Hinchman, Charlotte
Knobb, Verna ~Sager, and Martha

HIGHLIGHTS

Sigma Phi Epsilon won a quarter
final match in the intramural football
competition on Thursday night when
it defeated Watts Hall by three
first downs. Manager Watts has ar
ranged for the playofT of the semi
finals on Monday night, while the fi
nals will be held Tuesday.
Delta Theta Sigma won the intra
mural cross-country tournament over
Beta Theta Pi, 10-tc-12. Unit 6 was
third, while Delta Upsilon came in
fourth.
Vernon Norris '39 of Delta Theta
Sigma placed first; Jacob Brown '37,
of Sigma Phi Alpha, was second;
while Charles Neidig '4O, Alpha Chi
Sigma, was third.
