Henry Porterfield, Thespian scenic
director, strike a new high for color
and originality, were designed by
Mrs. Harney W. Stover, wife of

rection of Miss Kay Dixon, of Gable's
department store in Altoona, and
Mary D'Olier '36 by a large'staff of
volunteer co-ed seamstresses.
The sudden illnesi of Ruth Ever
ett '36 has caused her place to be
filled by Helen J. Hinebaueh '35, who
has danced in the choruses of "Old
King Cole," "My Stars," and '"Bar

Delta Tau Delta maintains its lead
in the intramural bowling tournament
as a result of Tuesday night's match
es. The Delta have 37 wins and 11
losses, giving them a percentage of
.771. The Delta Upsilon bowlers,
with a rating of .750, and the S. A. E.
pinmen, rating .650, follow in second
and third places, respectively.

Fencing Squad Elects
Allen Varsity Captain
Richard H. Allen 'f3C was elected
fencing captain for next season at a
meeting of the varsity squad this
week. Allen has been a saberman on
the varsity squad for the past two
years, fighting in every meet this
year.
Edward E. Bowen '37, whose name
was omitted from the list published
earlier, was awarded a letter and
Richard Lewis '37 was given numer
als. The Tour winners of the annual
freshman tournament also received
