Hamas Faces End
Of Boxing Career
An injured knee may stop the
rise of Steve Hamas in the fistic
world for all time, according to re
ports from the former Lion athlete,
who wrenched the ligaments in his
knee several months ago.
After spending six weeks in the
hospital, -during which time, an op-‘
eration was performed, but the in
jured knee failed to respond to
treatment, Hamas has now turned
to coaching a Mautak, N. Y., high
school football eleven.
