Agriculture School head' Will GIIC
Talk Tomorrow Afternoon
Speaking on "The Promised Land,"
Dean Ralph L. Watts, of the School
of Agriculture, will give a lecture to
faculty members and students in
Room 100, Horticulture building, at
4.10 o'clock, tomorrow afternoon.
The lecture, one of the agriculture
series, will be based upon material ac
quired by Dean Watts during a visit
to Palestine several years ago. It
will deal with agricultural conditions
and geographical features in the Holy
Land.
Dean Watts ',till illustrate his talk
with mole than eighty slides, many of
which were made from photographs
taken by him.
TRUESDALE '32 GAINS HONOR ,
Homer R. Truesdale '32 is one of
he ten finalists selected from the 110
entrants in the annual nation-wide
architectural design contest sponsored
by the Institute of Steel Construction,
it was announced recently. The prob
lem was the design of a highway
bridge with particular emphasis on
esthetic qualities.
