The Lion’s Paw, founded in 1007,
is exclusivcli a senior class society
and membership in it is considered
|by the student body the highest lion*
oi of its kind to which an undeigrad
uate may nspue. Only those membois
of the semoi class, not to exceed
fifteen, who have achieved promin
ence in college affans. who have been
held m high lcgaid by the student
body, are eligible foi this organiza
tion
Jlembeiship in the Lion’s Paw is
not meiclv an honoi bestowed for
past service, but rathci it entails a
new obligation to work with a gioup
which has for its sole purpose the
futtheiance of the best interests of
the College. Members of Lion’s Paw
are not conspicuous in their activi
ties, but seek to accomplish their
ends by duecting and assisting the
efforts of all oiganizations that are
sinceiely and unselfishly m’cciosted
m the general College welfaic.

Blue Key, founded m 1923, is
strictly a Junior class society At

The objects of this organization
differ somewhat fiom those of the
other campus societies. The primary
object of Blue Key is welcoming and
providing for entertainment of rep
resentatives of other colleges while
they aie the guests of Penn State.
