The quaiter mile run went to
Rhodes, Theta Kappa Phi, and the
liulf mile event was won by Rtshcl.
Alpha Gamma Rho Hill, Sigma Nu,
featuied in the huutlo events with a
fust in the 120 yaid highs and second
m the 220 >aid lows along with third
in high jump Van Ivouren, Delta
Upsilon, took the 220 yaid low huxdlc.

O’Shea, Theta Kappa Phi, topped the

Nittany ‘Lion Suits’ Find Counterpart
In Famous Princeton Senior Costumes
Although Penn State’s scniois will
don their lion suits, emblems of cam
pus royalty, for the first time m to
morrow's Move Up Day ccremonio3,
June graduates at Princeton have
been wearing theirs for several weeks
Of course, they're not “lion suits”
at Old Nassau Rather the vestments
arc given the unusual but reminiscent
monicker of "beer suits.” They are,
however, identical with the white can
vas overalls which seniors will begin
wearing at 2 o’clock tomorrow and
co-cds» will start autographing
promptly.
How th« suits got their pre-prohi
bitron title at Princeton is an odd but
enjoyable tale. It all started when
seniors of bygone ycais were accus
tomed to gather during the last
months of their college careers to re
call fittingly joyous events of the four
