ANNOUNCEMENT
On May 27th I sold my entire interests in the Cathaum and
Manny Theatres at State College and they have now become
units in the vast thLtre enterprises operated by Warner Bros.
I therefore wish to lake this opportunity to e\press to the
people of Stale College, the surrounding community and to the
students of The Pennsylvania State College my sincere thanks
fin the support they halve given me in making these theatres
Popular and successful.
While I have had opportunity to sell to other fit ins. I sold
my interests to Warner Bros. in the firm belief that they will
render you the best possible service. I respectfully ask that the
same kind support and understanding that you have giN en me in
the past be extended to them.
I will completely retire from the management and operation
of the Nit tan} and Cathaum Theatres but my former organization
will be retained.
The direct management of these theatres will be in the hands
of mi. George Sullivan and I know your wishes will continue to
dictate the policies of these theatres just as YOUR wishes and
desires have guided me in my years of business dealings with you.
