CLASS REUNIONS
'Old Grads' Congregate Here for
Fifth Year Home-Coming
Next Monday
With every indication pointing to
ward a record-breaking nttendance,
Penn State alumni will return to the
College beginning Finlay to peak,-
pate in class reunion, and Conumeme
ment Week festivities,
Opening the four-day celebration
the alumni will attend the combined
musical club's concert in Schwab audi
torium at 7:45 o'clock Friday night
Election of three members to the
Board of Trustees will take place Sat
urday morning, folloned by the first
meeting of the newly-formed Alumni
Council.
The annual alumni golf tournament
is scheduled to begin at, 1 o'clock on
the College course. At the sonic time
the alumnae will hold a luncheon at
the University club A lacrosse genic
later in the afternoon between Penn
State and the Onondaga Indians and
a Thespian musical comedy Satuiday
night complete the day's activities.
Thompson to Speak
• Dr William 0. Thompson, president
emeritus of Ohio State university, will
deliver the Baccalaureate sermon in
Schwab auditorium next Sunday
morning. The College symphony
band will_present a concert on front
campus in the afteinoon, followed by
vesper services .conducted` by the Y.
SI. C A and Y. W. C. A.
Neilt Monday has been designated
as Alumni Day. Classes that have
been graduated at five year intervals
will hold reunions Three of the four
living members of the class of 1850
will return to celebrate then fiftieth
commencement anniversary, while the
class of 1925, the youngest to hold an
organized reunion, is expected to have
the largest delegation.
After the senior class day exercises
in the morning, the alumni v. ill con
duct their reunions. A campus lunch
eon is to be served and the classes
will parade to Ness Beaver field to
witness the baseball game between
Poi, State and Syi nen,. An Alum
ni dinner in McAllister Hall, a
Players' presentation in the audi
torium, and a commencement recep
tion and dance complete the program
