jected by 71 votes as the result
of a campus-wide poll at student
elections yesterday. A total of
329 ballots w ere cast in favor of
the measure while 903 ballots
favored continuation of the pres
ent system.
Committee selection of head

whelming majority of 653 totes.
Favorable decisions ,were given
the plan by 1175 students with
522 t oting against the change.
Under the adopted system the
cheerleader will be chosen by the
