As a champion of the Lion ring,
Steve battled his way to two inter col
legiato boxing titles, receiving the
crown in 1927 and again last season.
During his colleg.atc caieci he re
ceived eleven letters, a Penn State
record, and last year was voted the
outstanding athlete of the year.
