Pointing to the fifth championship
campaign of the Intercollegiate .Soc
ccr association, the Lion hooters
elected Bill-Hutchinson, fullback, cap;
tain of the 1930 'eleven.. Fourteen
major awards were issued to twelve
numbers of the 1929 championship
team, manager, and Hay Viverberg,
at the elections session Tuesday night.
Special awards of a minor letter

of the squad.'The major letters were
received by McKune,' goalie, Harvey
and Allen, fullbacks, and Strimliui
Edgertonj' and, Captain ,MacLaren,
halfback's. Linemen who;-were reCog-r

itely scheduled for the Lion freshmen.
They will meet Colgate at Hamilton,
N. Y. on February 23, Syracuse at
Syracuse, .March .1, . and , Pittsburgh
.at State College March 15. .All of
these games will precede varsity con
tests with the. same schools.

EXPECT FEW GRID CHANGES
That there will be few changes in
the football rules for next year is the
opinion of Edward K. Hall, chairman
of the National Football Rules com
mittee. Ho is certain that the rule
forbidding running with a fumbled
ball will still be on the books next
football, season.
