THE CONTEST
By the time this goes to press
the contest will already be on
What contest' , Why that between
the Town wad Campus girls to see
which will have one-hundred per
ccn contributors to s'e Grange
dormitory fund flrst.
Any time until Saturday morn
ing, January 21, you may be ap
proached by one of the canvassers
and asked to contribute twbnty
five cents or as much more as you
can afford. Don't refuse.
Campus girls, don't refuse on
the grounds that you haven't the
quarter or that you will derive no
benefits from the new building
Stay home from a movie or forego
a,sandwich or a sundae. And even 1
if you will not be bona - teed, those . '
:II the near future will. Some of
the girls now in the lower classes
will probably have a chance to
draw rooms in the new Grange
Memorial dorm. \Vhat if the
members of the Grange had re
fused to contribute on the grounds
that they would never have a
chance to live in the building!
Town Girls, the same thing ap
plies to you. Perhaps you do not
like living in town A contribution
to the fund is lust that much help
towards the goal to have every
girl on the campus
Then there is of course the in
centive of having your side win,
whether you live in town or on
campus Don't let it be said that
you were the one who prevented
your side from attaining the hun
dred per cent mark first.
Watch the chart on Dean Ray's
buletin board, and do all you can
to help your side
