The ,American Society of Agricultural Enginers, having the last day of its convention coincident with the opening of the vegetable gala, \vi,l participate in the proposed ceremonies. Several methods of potato harvest ing. employed in different sections of the country will be demonstrated, compared and the superior method as certained. An effort is being made also to procure for observation ma chines for digging, picking, sorting and grading potatoes. Transporta tion and yield will also be considered. After the noonday banquet of “all- Colloge products,’’ the convention men will gather for the afternoon contests, in which potatoes and potato cutters will display their wares.
