The work is wholly educational and independent of
control by theplant managements. The attention of the
student is directed exclusively to the study of Chemical
Engineering.
The total number admitted to the school is limited
and the students, studying and experimenting in small 01,

WARNING
i; To all Fraternities, Apartments and Homes
in State College.
. This open winter with its rain, snow, sleet, and the
streets in a muddy filthy condition, has been responsible
for your rugs and cnrpets being packed with mud, sand,
and filth, that has beeen tracked in from the streets, that
no broom, vacuum cleaner or club will ever remove
It is dangerous to have this filth in your rugs and
carpets.
Send your floor coverings to the High Standard Laun
dry and have them thoroughly shampooed and renovated,
which removes every particle of dirt and restores the colors
like new
Just fold them up and ship to us by express or freight
No rug so cheap or expensive that it cannot be cleaned
All rugs re•sized free of charge.
We also re-fringe rugs at 65 cents per yard
This service will cost you $4.50 for a 9X12 rug, other
sizes in proportion. Special rates on four or more rugs
if sent in one shipment.
We use no mechanical beaters or dusters in cleaning
rugs, therefore there is no chance of having the fibre of
the rug broken. Pure cleansing material does the work.
The University Club has sent us a number of rugs
They like the service—Ask Mr. J. I. Clayton.
