Next Wednesday morning members of the three upper clas
ses in the usual mass meting will be called upon to register their
approval or disapproval of the following proposed amendments
to Penn State's Honor System
Amend Section 5. Article I. to Read
"II a student detects any dishonest) in a quiz or evimina
tion, it shall be his duty to report such dishonest) to the
honor committee, after securing• it possible, other witnesses
to the dishonesty; but the honor commitee shall admit the
testimony of one person reporting the Lase, whether or not
other witnesses are secured."
Amend Section 1, Article IV., to Read
"It shall be the duty of the honor committee to conduct
investigations. and tint's. on information receited limn any
source of dishonesty in e‘aininations or guises, but this
section shall not be construed as extending proctor rights
to an instructor."
Consider these proposals grasely. Their adoption hill make
Penn State's Honor System a system of real value.
