Professor Latsen of the Daily Husbandry department attended meetings at Philadelphia and Ken nett Square held with a view of in creasing the present sanitary con ditions in these vicinities. The department of botany has arranged a series of seminar meet ings for the members of its staff, graduate students and students tak ing the botany option. The subjects for discussion will include especially the . projects which are being carried on by the department and the graduate stu dents. The meetings will be held in the Botany building on Wednes day afternoon from 4:30 to 5.30 p. m. March 10, 24, April 7, 21 and May 5, 19. All people interested in research work along this are welcome. The college shipped a car load of horses to Philadelphia where they are to be sold at a private sale. These horses were used in conducting a fattening experiment during the past winter. Dean Holmes, will speak before the senior and junior agriculturists next Friday afternoon in the Old Chapel.
