    Noteworthy Reform.
The junior' class at Franklin and
Marshall College has, itHhopes,
solved many problems by adopting
an elaborate constitution, in which
the object of the class organization
is stated to:be "to bring the mem
bers into an organized relation;
to provide a system of fundamental
principles of action; to cultivate
friendship, and to foster class and
college spirit."
The class hopes by this action to
regulate its affairs in a more
,methodical way. Strict financial

There's a good motto for all of us for the New Year. We're not sure
that the quotation is exactly correct; but we've got the general idea there;
Edward Everett Hale said it
It's a good motto for men in business; for women in the home or in
business, for all of us in all our relations to each other. We're trying to carry

The question of finances is
doubtless the greatest problem
which confronts a class, and it has
been apparent that class finances
can be kept in healthy condition
only by enforcement of strict rules.
According to a "proposed sched
ule" for Harvard's 1914 eleven,
stated to be pending by yesterday's
Philadelphia Press, Penn State is to
be the Crimson's opponent a: Cam
bridge on October 24.
