1914 LA VIE.
Junior Publication to be on Sale
Commencment
There will be ample opportunity
given at Commencement time, for
all who so desire, to secure copies
of the 1914 La Vie, at least, as long
as the supply holds out. This
year's college annual presents an
appearance and arrangement radi
cally different from those of
immediately preceding years, but it
more than upholds the standard set
by the best of earlier numbers.
The book is bound in an excel
lent grade of stiff black Morocco,
with appropriate design. Some of
the more important colllege affairs
are dealt with in the following main
sections:—college government, the
classes, varsity and class athletics,
fraternities, Co-ed section (a win
ner), oratory and debate, social
events, religious organizations, pub
lications, musical and dramatic or
ganizations.
In arrangement and detail the
1914 La Vie is a publication of
which the class and the college
may well be proud. While need
less expense has been rigidly
avoided, the management neverthe
less has succeeded in securing an ad
equate return in quality for money,
time and energy expended—each
of which, by the way, amounts to
not a little.
The staff as a whole should be
highly commended; and those es
pecially responsible for the success
of the 1914 La Iffeiie: Editor-in
chief Horst, Manager Keyser, Chief
Artist Mulvihill an•i Chief Photog
rapher Plank.
