Prohibition League
The Prohibition League, organiz
ed here last year as a unit in an
intercollegiate association having
state and national representation,
held its final meeting of the year on
last Monday evening. The results
accomplished by the local• league

activity have been formulated for
the coming year. Mr. S. P. Jones,
'l5, President of the League who
represented State College in this
year's State Oratorical Contest held
last April at Juniata College, defin
itely assures us that the Oratorical
Contest for 1913-14 will be held at
State College.
Interclass Baseball
The juniors defeated the sopho
mores in' the best played game of
the season last Tuesday afternoon
on Old Beaver Field by the score
of 3 to 2.
The seniors continued their win
ning streak by defeating the fresh
men Saturday in a five inning
game. Murphy held the freshmen
scoreless winning by the score of 6

All those wishing to enter a
gymnastic contest which will be
held on the twenty eighth of this
month, give their names to May at
the Armory or to Mr. Lewis. The
Contest will consist of three set
and two individual movements on
each of the following apparatus;
the horse, the horizontal bar, the
parallel bars, and the mat. Points
will be scored on approach, -ex
ecution and retreat, also on the
movement itself in the individuals.
Medals will be awarded to the two
highest competitors. Let a goodly
number contest for these medals.
