There’s no way to describe the lively,
smart styles of these new overcoats so that
you’ll get a really good idea of them.
Even the best illustrations don’t do the
clothes full justice. You’ve simply got to
see the goods if you want to “get a line” on
them.
The Sim Store
has produced the best overcoat styles this
season you have ever seen; unless you have
a look at them you’ll miss the smartest lot
of stuff in the market; and we’re sure you
don’t want to do that.
You can find plenty of good looking
clothes everywhere; but there’s more than
looks in these. There’s quality in them;
fine fabrics, fine tailoring, fine finish.
They’re the clothes you want.
New styles for young men; new belt-back
models; new colors and weaves.

Basketball Prospects.
The outlook for a successful
basketball season is very favorable
this year. The team has indulged
in strenuous practice every night
for the last three weeks. The fol
lowing men of last year’s squad are
on the floor: Hartz (Captain),
Craig, Mauthe, Park and Wilson.
There is also a good delegation
from last year's class teams.
Among the most prominent are:
Binder, Smith, Savery, Wilson and
Metzger.
The new men who have come
out for practice have made a favor
able impression. The following
freshmen have been picked for the
training table so far: Jeffry, David
son and Unger.
No definite schedule has as yet
been given out, but will probably
be announced soon after Christmas.
Skull and Bones.
A new upper class honorary
society, "The Skull and Bones”,
has been organized at Penn State
with the following members: —J. B.

C. A. Keyser, S. U. Kiester, J. S.
Leffler, J. H. Quirk, P. E. Rhein

lecture will be illustrated.
Christmas Dances.
As has been the custom for sev
eral years, a number of county club
dances will be held during the
Christmas vacation. To these var
ious dances all Penn State
alumni, faculty, students and friends
in the vicinity of any of the dances
are most cordially invited to attend.
A dance in any of our home towns
or cities, if properly arranged, does
much toward advertizing the col
lege and increasing the social re
spect for Penn State.
The following dances will be
held:—Beaver County Club. An
nual Christmas Dance, Monday
Dec. 23 at Junction Park Pavillion,
New Brighton.
Lebanon County Club. Formal
Dance in Academy Hall, Lebanon,
Dec. 23.
Erie City Club. Fifth Annual
Dance in Masonic Building, Erie,
Dec. 26.
Washington County Club. Dance
at Charleroi, Dec. 30.
Members of the faculty of the
University of Michigan, heads of
the undergraduate organizations,
and the Michigan College Daily,
are working together to arouse
sentiment, perfect an organization,
and put through a proposed law
permitting college students whose
homes are in Michigan to vote by
mail. The matter was thoroughly
agitated last week, and after a mass
meeting of the students tomorrow it
is hoped to have an active suffrage
organization in the field.
