Telegrams Not Genuine.
The football returns committee
desires to announce that the tele
grams read during the giving of the
returns of Saturday's game were not
genuine. It is presumed that they
were intended as a joke, and the
committee makes this announce
ment in order to clear those 'who
were set down as senders of the
telegrams.

The annual play given by the wo
man students of the college will ta!t e
place in the Auditorium on the even
ing of Nov. 18, the day following
Pennsylvania Day. Although the
name of the play has not been
definitely decided upon, preparations
have been made for some time, th
parts have been assigned, and a
competent dramatic coach has been
secured. A successful play is
assured.

Love attended the Student Volunteer
Convention at Lafayette College on
Sunday, Oct. 23. Sixty-seven in
stitutions were represented. Gener
al Beaver, "Mother" Dunn, and Joe
Platt were the other State men pres
ent.
Professor A. H. Gill has just re-
turned from a trip through the
western part of the state, which he
took for the purpose of conferring
with gas producers and engine
manufacturers with reference to the
enlargment of the gas power equip
ment at this college.
