Vorhis to Lead Wesleyan Football.
(From Hartford "Courant.")
It was announced on May 1 that
L. F. , Vorhis has been, secured as
coach for next season's football
team at Wesleyan. Vorhis coached
the 1910 team most successfully,
and his re-engagement meets with
the hearty approval of all interested
in athletics at Wesleyan. "Larry"
graduated from the Pennsylvania
State College in 1910 and his career
in athletics at_ that institution was,
brilliant. He captained the foot
ball team in his senior year and he
was picked by many as Alt Amer
ican quaiteiback that year. It is
felt that he will be able to continue
his constructive work with the Red
and Black football squad, and that
next year's eleven ought to be even
better than the one which he turned
out last season.
